Café Racer

Goodmorning,
I am poor in the France language my excuus for that.
But i would like to present to you all a new type of cafe made from a 81 Yamaha virago xv700.
As you all can see its changed a lot.
A top speed over 200, very bad brakes and a beutiful sound make it a fine bike to ride.
Let me think how you in France appreciate this kind a cafe.

thats my idea to.
It handles like a knife.
Very sharp steering unlike every bike i had before in spite of the very big front tire.
Any idea's to improve the frenage?
I think that are brakes in the france language.

very beautifull bike ! it VX an often used foundation, or even never is! (traduction voila pour dire "le VN n'est pas une base souvent itilisée, voire jamais !")

I would just change the wheels, to wire wheels with slimmer tire, the front one especially...
and a front muguard

have you done anything to the engine, or is it stock??

if you want to keep front wheel, why not a tr1 fork ? there would be less work and wheel are the same no ?

Could be, i meassured it a whil ago and found out that it was akmost 3 cm less wide.
Maybe with some seriuos adjustments will work. after the hollidays i will start with it.

There are changes to the starter wich is modified, perhaps you know the problem of the starters of the XV.
The ports have been altered, new balanced cam shaft new sharp pistons carburetors adjusted and a few minor changes.
Has an enormous amount of torque and good end speed.

Just the front tire "squared" to change.
